ON THE ROAD AGAIN

Chris, Jamie, and Kairi left last night for Mpls. It was hard getting them out of town. They were supposed to leave at noon yesterday, but ended up going shopping for new clothes. Chris called from Walmart in Ozark looking for Ken; they had to buy a new tire and needed advice. Ken was at the Walmart in Ozark but had already left before Chris called. They ended up going somewhere else for the tire. Called me at 6:03 pm to say they were leaving Ozark and were on their way. Called again at 6:55 to sing "On the Road Again" to me; when asked where they were, Chris said they were in Springfield. WTF?? Springfield is 25 minutes from Ozark! Now they're hungry and are going to stop at McDonald's and will hit the highway. Called again from Clinton, Mo; couldn't find the right exit. Told them to find one that pointed towards Des Moines, Iowa and they'd be fine. Called at 1:30 am to tell me they had hit the southern most part of Mpls!!!
